A student from King Abdulaziz University led an entrepreneurial team representing Saudi universities to achieve second place in Waterathon 2025, following strong competition with more than 400 startups. The achievement was earned through the development of an innovative, sustainable solution for sludge treatment and groundwater protection, as part of the Water Sustainability Innovation Challenges organized by the Saudi Water Authority.
